V-date at UP Grounds Diliman

February is indeed a love month, and for some, it’s the time to think of ways on how and where to spend Valentine’s day with their love ones. I’ll say, break the fine dining set-up, or a night at the hotel because for the past few years, single or not, I have to share to you guys my way of spending V-day without totally ruining my budget. To all who are planning a special night to spend on the all-love-day, you guys may want to include this on your must do on February list. This is the time of the year where I embrace youth again and be part of the UP Fair 2013 at the Diliman Sunken Garden inside the campus.

Call Me Maybe Parodies

WARNING: This post can cause the fatal LSS (Last Song Syndrome).

Not so long ago, there was a viral video in which some models in the metro (seriously, do I really have to name them all?! argh) made a parody of  Carly Rae Jepsen’s Call Me Maybe. Can we please give the credit to Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez and their crew for making the original one?! Now who ever created or directed the “Call Me Maybe” video in which these models dance to, didn’t have the creative mind to even change the credit made at the end of the song…in local terms “gayang gaya eh” (they copied even the credit’s format).

Before anyone in their great mind get to copy another Call Me Maybe parody, let me share three of the best parody of the song. Call Me Maybe is every where…and I mean EVERY WHERE and some people can’t just get enough of it. Well, it’s a fun song anyway.

First in my list is the 2012 USA Olympic Swimming Team’s Call Me Maybe. Gawd! It’s funny to see guys dancing this song, wearing only their swimming trunks! Have fun!

Can’t get enough of great bods dancing this song. Wait till you see  Abercrombie & Fitch guys when they made a parody of this song October of last year. Abs, abs abs!! Beat that!

Then finally, who said tough guys don’t know how to have fun? Enjoy as the U.S. Marines stationed in Afghanistan dance and lip-sync to Carly Rae Jepsen’s hit song. Boys (and girls) do just want to have some fun.

At least you know who did it first. Hi five to Carly Rae Jepsen!
